On behalf of our Board of Advisors and WLI Team, greetings and welcome to the Wildacres Leadership Initiative.For over a decade, WLI has been in the business of building community among diverse groups of emerging North Carolina leaders and leveraging those relationships for the good of our state. Improving human relations is fundamental to our work, as we believe people who are willing to openly share their convictions, challenge their assumptions and authentically learn from one another are the key to growing levels of understanding and empathy needed to address our state’s pressing issues and create a more just, equitable and accountable society.WLI promotes the leadership practices of integrity, intention, and inclusion through the William C. Friday Fellowship for Human Relations, Fellows Action Network and Center for Excellence in Leadership.
